In celebration of Photopolis, the month-long Festival of Photography in Halifax, Keith Michael Cossey has three solo exhibitions and one group exhibition in Halifax during October.  All welcome to visit during open hours.

"The Allure of Tall Ships" solo exhibition at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, 1675 Lower Water Street, Halifax.  The show celebrates the rich details of the hardware and spars of tall ships.  The images were taken during several tall ship festivals and a sailing adventure in the British Virgin Islands aboard the three masted schooner, Arabella.   Hours: Monday to Sunday 9:30 am to 5:30 pm,  Tuesdays to 8:00 pm. (902) 424-7490

"Phantoms of the Forest" solo exhibition at the Ecology Action Center, 2705 Fern Lane, Halifax.  A personal, visual interpretation of the regenerative powers of forests.  The energy of new forest growth is captured and the vibrancy of new life and resurrection expressed visually.  Artist Talk on Wednesday, October 15, 12 noon to 1:00 pm bring your own brown bag lunch.  Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. (902) 429-2202

"Dropology" solo exhibition at OceanHeart Wellness Centre, 5880 Spring Garden Road, Halifax.   Images of the fleeting forms created as liquid drops fall and collide.  An intentional collaboration between the artist and the liquid.  A synchronicity of material, camera, eye, mind and heart.  An ephemeral art form merging liquid sculpture and high speed photography.  Hours: Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.  (902) 431-2326

"Once Upon A Foggy Night" group exhibition at ViewPoint Gallery, 1272 Barrington Street, Halifax.  Artistic interpretations of photography in diminutive light.  Talented local photographers are challenged to share their visual experiences with fog and darkness.  Hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 12 noon to 5:00 pm, Thursday and Friday to 7:00 pm. (902)420-0854
